A Lafontaine pupa #16 tan, Green or grey is a good nymph. Look for BWOs #18 showing around midday and early evening in the back eddy's. A good nymph setup is a tan sparkle pupa#16 and a Pheasant Tail Soft Hackle #16 trailer fly. There are Steelhead in the lower river with the best fishing below Maupin.
